Pedal for no Medal - Day 8

This was a rest day, so no pedaling. Both the guys and their bikes got cleaned up and gathered strength for the second part of our epic trip. After almost 1400 kilometers the joints are bound to get a bit stiff, so we used the free day to carry out a technical maintenance of the bikes and their riders. The bike chains got lubricated and the team was rubbed with a massage oil. Or was it the other way around? Anywho, now all of the technical and biological machinery is running smoothly again and we are anxious the get back on the road.

Fun fact: Roberts has some kind of a super-body, because according to the masseur his muscles didn’t show any signs of riding the bike from Riga to Kyiv. Rumor has it that Roberts has a spare set of muscles.
